Dr. Yehuda Tropper
Dr. Tropper earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Touro College. He was awarded Dean’s list and graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude. He went on to earn his DDS degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
During dental school, Dr. Tropper was awarded membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He was also recognized with multiple awards upon graduation, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award, the American Association of Orthodontists Award, and the Dimitrios Kilimitzoglou Pioneer in Dentistry Award.
After receiving his DDS degree, Dr. Tropper completed a multi-disciplinary GPR residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. During this residency, he gained proficiency in prosthetic, endodontic, and surgical techniques. Upon graduation, he was presented with the Resident of the Year award, the program’s highest honor.
Dr. Tropper has been recognized for his commitment to underserved populations. He has participated in dental outreach in conjunction with the United States Indian Health Services, providing care for the Oglala Lakota Native Americans of Pine Ridge, South Dakota. He was also acknowledged for his participation in the Give Kids a Smile program, providing dental care for children in Long Island.
Dr. Tropper enjoys continuing education and constantly strives to keep up with the most modern techniques to provide outstanding care for his patients. He completed an intensive two-year surgical and prosthetic implantology program at New York University College of Dentistry, focusing on placement and the restoration of single and multiple-unit implants.
Dr. Tropper is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and has been acclaimed for honor and distinction by the 2015 Consumers’ Research Council of America.
Dr. Tropper’s easygoing personality helps his patients feel relaxed when receiving care. He prides himself on taking the time to explain procedures, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and understand the treatments provided.
Outside the office, Dr. Tropper is happily married and enjoys spending time with his six children. He enjoys swimming, snowboarding and playing basketball.
